BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Seoul Korea, Pilmo Kang grew up in a multinational culture setting, living in Ivory Coast, Paris, and Rome.
In 2002, when he was 21, Pilmo moved to Rome to study at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). After graduating, he returned to Korea to serve his mandatory two year term in the army working as a photographer. After his service Pilmo immediately returned to Rome to work with the production agency Allucinazione. He worked there for 7 years beginning as an assistant and then as a photographer. It was in Rome that his passion for still life photography was born.
After Rome, Pilmo moved back to Seoul Korea and opened his own studio where he now shoots both advertisement and editorial assignments..
